With Digital Submit, you can drag-and-drop files to create and submit jobs for automated production setting customer, due dates, print quantity, stock required and even delivery method, for both static and variable-data jobs. Static file types include PDF and Adobe PostScript; variable data file formats include PPML/VDX, PPML/GA and Adobe VPS. The PRINERGY Digital Workflow supports the rich feature set of Adobe Acrobat 9 Software. Adobe’s PDF Print Engine v1.1 is incorporated, for transparent processing of native PDFs from the latest design and layout software.

Reduce touchpoints with JDF

JDF integration helps Kodak and third-party systems interact, and helps communicate a job’s specifications. JDF intent, for example, can be used with PRINERGY Rules-Based Automation Software to automatically interpret a job’s instructions. JDF intent can be provided by an upstream application such as the Kodak InSite Storefront System, and provides data on a job’s print quantity, due date, ship date, and print date. PRINERGY Rules-Based Automation Software and JDF intent are a powerful combination for automated job control and tracking.
Track and control jobs remotely

The dashboard Web browser interface now includes a Documents column that shows which digital print documents have been created within a job. The dashboard provides complete job status to remote users such as CSRs and product managers.
