GMG ColorServer
Creating uniform color standards is child’s play
No matter whether you are a printshop or a prepress company: very often you get printing data in different color spaces from your customers, or you have to prepare data for different printing processes. With GMG ColorServer, the time-consuming editing of data of this kind is now a thing of the past.
GMG ColorServer processes fully automatic color space conversions from one color standard to another – by using the DeviceLink approach of GMG.
The main functions at a glance
CMYK-to-CMYK conversion
One of the outstanding functions of GMG ColorServer is its fully automatic color conversion. This is used to convert CMYK data from one standard (industry standards or in-house standards) to another industry or in-house standard or to reseparate CMYK data in order to uniform their color composition.
RGB-to-CMYK conversion
If RGB files are delivered unprepared for printing, they are placed in a hot folder and processed according to the parameters defined for this hot folder e.g. scaled, sharpened and separated into the desired CMYK color space.
PDF-to-PDF conversion
It is also possible to manipulate PDF files for both CMYK-to-CMYK and RGB-to-CMYK conversions.
